Central Collections Unit: Kate C. Brody, Chief of Legal Services
Appointed in September 2018, Kate C. Brody, Esq. leads the Central Collections Unit in the collection of delinquent debts owed to the State of Rhode Island. Prior to joining the unit, Brody was a special assistant attorney general in both the civil and criminal divisions at the Rhode Island Office of Attorney General. Brody was also previously a collections attorney at the Rhode Island Division of Taxation. Brody holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
